President Bola Tinubu has approved a nationwide recruitment drive targeting young Nigerians to bolster transparency and enhance efforts to revitalize the country’s health sector.
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Ali Pate, announced the initiative under the Presidential Health Fellows Programme in a broadcast on Monday.

Prof. Pate revealed that a dedicated portal has been launched to recruit Health Fellows who will oversee the construction of 8,300 new primary healthcare facilities across the nation in the coming years.

Prof. Pate encouraged qualified Nigerians to apply online at http://www.healthfellows.ng before the deadline of January 27, 2025.
He added that a state-level screening exercise will be conducted across all LGAs to select the most suitable candidates for the programme.
